Commodore's Report

Cor! Time for the June edition already. What can I say that's not already in the newsletter? Not a lot is the thought that springs to mind. The same old faces race on Sunday's and the Wednesday afternoon/evening racing has yet to get off the ground (or in our case 'on the water').

The Open Weekend was encouraging and over the subsequent weekends we have been working hard to accommodate the returning families and encourage them to join the club.

The first draft of the new club sail training booklet is finished and out with some of our experienced helms for comment. Once the text is edited and graphics have been added I hope to get it published so it can be used to help teach our newcomers to sail.

During June we've got our Regatta, Jazz Night & Barbecue on the 11th with the Regatta continuing on the 12th and Hampton Regatta on the 18th & 19th , I hope you will all be planning to support these events. In the mean time see you on the water.
